After seeing some great demos last night (including that heavily used Amazon’s Web Services), followed by some interesting conversations over drinks, the thought occurred to me that there’s no reason why we can’t run a FacebookCamp style event here in Toronto for users of Amazon Web Services.
I’ve added a page to the barcamp wiki at http://barcamp.org/AmazonCamp – if this is something you’d be interested in participating in/contributing to drop by and add your name to the list. If there seems to be some traction then I’ll start to find a venue and touch-base with the Amazon folks to see if they’d be interested in helping out/participating.
My expectation is any event would likely take place around mid-late November.
